Awakening

I had a dream

She was there
Walking right past me
I couldn't see her

The river went on
Never leaving its course
Until that day

Life was turmoil
Everything was falling apart

That was called for
I needed to get to know myself

I opened my eyes
The light hurt me
For a while
I finally could see

And I saw the planet
And the trees
And the birds
And I felt the wind
Caressing my skin

There were people around me
Talking, walking, living
And I finally realized:
"I can..."

That's when I finally saw her
Really saw her
People talked about her
All the time
But I saw her

And I was awake
